Product Description
STEINEL IS D360 ECO is a white recessed ceiling motion detector for automatic lighting control. Its small visible fitting suits corridors, entrance halls, office circulation spaces and other dry indoor areas where lighting should respond to people moving through the room.
Lighting that responds to movement
The 360° PIR sensor responds to changes in heat radiation from moving people. Its circular lens observes the area around the installation point. Position it so people cross the detection field and doors, partitions or other objects do not obstruct its view. PIR technology does not detect a person through walls or glass.
Adjusted to the way the room is used
Local controls adjust the lighting duration and twilight threshold. This lets automatic switching follow the available daylight and the way people use the space. The sensor controls separately connected lighting, allowing its position to be chosen independently of the luminaires.
An understated ceiling fitting
The recessed construction places the connection section above the ceiling, leaving a white surround and detection lens visible. Spring clips secure the unit in a suitable ceiling opening. Allow access to the wiring and sufficient space for the sensor housing before fitting it.
Article 068165 has IP20 protection and is intended for dry indoor areas. Its white housing blends into light-coloured ceilings and provides a discreet finish.
